Faculty of Physical Education and Sport

The Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Charles University, was incorporated into Charles University as an Institute of Physical Education and Sport in 1959, and as a Faculty in 1965. Its mission is to educate and train professionals in sport and physical education (for children, adults and seniors, with and without special needs), military physical education, civil protection education, sport management, recreation and physiotherapy. The Bachelors and Masters programmes are grounded in both theory and practice. The study programmes of Physiotherapy and Physical Education and Sport are also taught in English.
